Empire Dining & Cocktail Bar is the heart and soul of our boutique hotel. We have ice cold, brewery fresh beer always on tap and local wines served by the glass. Fancy a cocktail or two, try one of the expertly prepared classics, or one from our seasonal selections. We’ve designed our space for your comfort and pride ourselves on our attention to detail and friendly service. Linger a while with family, friends and loved ones and let us take care of you. Absorb the warmth from our stacked stone open fireplace, bathe in the ambience and have your tastebuds tickled.
Bringing the City to the Country
Over a 12 month period, Empire Dining has been lovingly restored to its current magnificence. Restaurant designer Francisco Valles’ meticulously crafted our refurbished premises, blending heritage with modern comfort, whilst devotedly honouring our alpine location and proud locals. The delicate balance of rich timber, stone and soft furnishings creates a unique sensory dining experience, with a subtle nod to our cycling theme. Complimenting Empire Dining is the William Walker whisky bar which is reminiscent of traditional speakeasy bars of the era. Beautifully designed with velvet stools, pressed metal ceilings and dark seductive timbers, our venue will transport you to a different place and time.
Behind a purple door, you’ll find a cosy-yet-sophisticated restaurant with an elevated menu of fish, meat and veggie plates best enjoyed with a glass of vino from the Euro-centric wine list. Afterwards, unwind with a nightcap from the cocktail list – a barrel-aged negroni should do the trick.
